The excitement for Turkey Day is setting in! Thanksgiving is pretty much my favorite holiday because I can stuff my face guilt-free and hang out with family and friends in a weekend dedicated to laziness/thankfulness/football.
This year I am especially thankful because I haven't been home in a while and I miss my peeps! Dave is thankful because he hasn't been back to South Bend in even longer and misses the Charlee, plus he looks forward to his Friday Thanksgivingwich. He piles all of the leftovers- including cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, turkey, dressing, etc.- between two slices and eats the whole thing cold. Sounds kinda gross to me, but the look on his face is priceless- he just loves it.
Anyway, the hours can't pass by quickly enough. We can't wait to start the laziness and family fun.
