I have been remiss in my blogging recently, and I apologize for my laziness. Let's see... in the past couple of weeks, we have been pretty busy. We went to South Bend for Labor Day weekend, and had a great time with family and friends. We enjoyed the Notre Dame tailgating even though ND got whooped by Georgia Tech and we have no effective offense in the forseeable future. Navy, this could be the year to pull off your big upset.
Most of our days and nights have been consumed by watching and thinking about sports- namely baseball, football, and this week, tennis. Usually I'm pretty darn sick of watching the Cubbies by this point in the season and I can't wait for the misery to be over. This year, however, our boys are trying to hold onto a division lead that never seems to get beyond a half game. Scary stuff! So we've gotta watch every game we can and send all of our good ju-ju their way.
Tonight we have volleyball again- I may not have mentioned this recently, but our team is pretty good! Then tomorrow we're off to Bloomington to cheer on our friend Paul who is running in a mini-marathon there. I'm sure we'll take in some lunch at Nicks afterward, then Paul's coming back here with us to hang out. Such fun!
