Today's factoid

Brandi suggested that I expound on yesterday's fact. Some info about commonwealths: The difference between commonwealths and the other states is in name alone -- they elected to call themselves commonwealths, a term drawn from political theory. There is no legal difference, however, between the two. There are four commonwealths in the US: Kentucky, Virginia, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

So basically they want to be different for the sake of being different. So there!
