- Do a better job of recycling (we found a drop off place since we don't have pick up here)
- Be more conscious of conserving water and energy around the house
- Exercise more
- Track calorie consumption (particularly through portion size) more carefully, and adjust eating habits where necessary
- And most importantly... don't bother other people with our resolutions or expect them to do the same. Nothing's more annoying than eating a meal with someone who judges what you're eating.
Anyway, we've been feeling so great about ourselves lately that I needed to read something explaining why born-again fervency for clean living makes us feel so great. It came in the form of a very good but very long article in the New York Times magazine about morality. I'm placing the link below, just click on the title.
